Stairmaster Stepmill 7000PT - My Stairmaster Review
The Stairmaster Stepmill 7000PT is a revised version of the best-selling original Stairmaster. It's been updated with new parts and better engineering to offer a true stair climbing experience. One of the potential problems buyers face is whether it really works. So does it live up to the hype?
First Impressions: This machine is big and heavy (400 lb). Make sure you have plenty of room in your home to accommodate it. Carrying it up to the second floor is not an option.
So now to the good stuff ... The 7000PT is the most challenging and effective fat-burning Stairmaster I have ever used. This is because unlike other machines, the Stepmill does not require me to set the angle steep or power walk to break into a sweat. I found this to be a problem on some of the older Elipticals. In addition, the Stepmill is easy on your joints which is great for me because I really dislike the shin splints I get from jogging.
When you first get on, you will be asked to select an exercise program through the LCD fitness console. This is where you will input your weight, workout level, and time. You get 20 levels to choose from with the easiest starting at level 1. At level 8, it became a real challenge for me as I was burning 500 calories an hour.
Features and Benefits: The Stairmaster Stepmill features an advanced yet user friendly console for monitoring your heart rate, calories burned, distance, and time remaining. In addition, you have several workouts programs optimized for your fitness goals. This is a great way to measure your weight loss and keep the pounds off. Each step is roughly the size of a size 7 sneaker. My one complaint is I wish they were a little bigger as it takes some getting used to.
Product Summary: At ,000 this is not a small investment. The 7000PT is geared for people who are serious about health and fitness . It would make a good match for athletes, runners, bikers, and those who cannot afford not to work out. Of course you will need to adhere to a clean diet and workout regularly. With that being said it would be impossible not to lose weight. I've used several machines in the past and none have been able to challenge me like this one.

Stairmaster Stepmill 7000 PT Workout Secrets
One of the best workout exercise machines I have ever had the opportunity to use is the Stairmaster Stepmill 7000 PT.
The stepmill 7000 is a stair climber that gives a low impact full cardio vascular workout in a very short period of time.
This stair climber gives you over six preprogrammed workouts, everything from a quick start to a full cardio routine and several other good programs in between including a very challenging fat burning workout.
You also get over twenty different resistance levels that can accommodate users up to 300 pounds.
A good targeted heart rate zone workout can be attained in as little twenty minutes.
Here is a sample of a good workout routine to follow, first would be to start out with three to five minutes of warmup by stretching the muscles, then start off on level one for the first three to five minutes to get warmed up and the blood flowing.
Next move your level to a comfortable rate that makes conversation a little difficult.
This is a self gauge test, I try to get to a workout level that makes having a conversation a little difficult.
Then maintain that level for roughly ten to fifteen minutes.
After maintaining that level for the allotted time, put the stepmill 7000 PT back down to level one for a three to five minute so that you can warm down properly.
Following this routine three to five times a week, and keeping your heart rate in your targeted zone during those ten to fifteen minutes, this will have you getting into shape in no time.
Remember that the Stairmaster Stepmill 7000 PT the next time you go to the health club and try this exercise equipment rather than the treadmill and always consult your physician before starting any workout routine to determine if the workout works for yourself.
